Young children can play in The Treehouse which features hands-on activities. You can also research your genealogy and other history in the State Archives, shop in the Museum Store, and enjoy a meal or snack at the James River Café. Don’t forget to try the dinosaur cookies. Admission is free, seven days a week. Don’t miss touring the state Capitol, just a few steps away. And walk, play, or jog on the paths of the Capitol grounds—bring the dog!
