Discovering fossils of velociraptor requires incredible luck, plus knowledge and patience. Velociraptor was a small, feathered dinosaur that lived over 70 million years ago.

Perhaps as intelligent as a modern hawk, velociraptor attacked its prey with a barrage of jaws and claws. It ate anything it could, using its foot’s killing claw to jab while its hand claws slashed and finished the kill. This aggressive bird-like predator is aptly named for being a fast hunter.
