The Warrior of the North, a Viking warrior, was a mascot for Grand Forks Air Force Base for many years. The warrior logo can be seen on tour in places at Oscar-Zero once part of a former U.S. Air Force missile wing comprised of 150 Minuteman missiles. These sites stood on ready alert during the Cold War and beyond from 1966 to 1998. Today, Oscar-Zero and November-33 are the last intact components of the former 321st Strategic Missile Wing, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota.
